Jantsen’s Gift: a True Story of Grief, Rescue, and Grace by Pam Cope with Aimee Molloy published by Grand Central in 2009. Pam Cope owned a hair salon in Missouri. She had never been out of the country, and had no desire to travel far away from her home. But… on June 1999, her fifteen-year-old son died from an undiagnosed heart ailment. To get far away from her loss, she accepted a friend’s invitation and went to Vietnam. When she came back, she had a new life with her new mission to change the world. She rescued 30 children from the streets of Vietnam within one year. This number had grown to more that 200 within next 5 year… Today, Pam is the director and founder of Touch A Life organization, dedicated to helping-at-risk children. Aimee Molloy is a freelance journalist and the co-author.
